Vaccinations are a crucial tool in your child's fight against infectious diseases. They help prevent the spread of many infectious diseases, and even though we might take them for granted today, they constitute one of the most significant discoveries in the field of medicine and one of the most effective methods medicine has found to help your body ward off illness. A child's vaccination schedule is determined by his age - newborns may be inoculated against tuberculosis, but should wait until they are three months old to receive diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis shots. Vaccinations may be combined, but some need certain intervals between them before they are administered. We work with the suggested vaccination schedule of the Association of Practical Doctors for Children and Adolescents in the Czech Republic and are happy to help you keep up with your child's shot schedule as he grows.
